Last week we completed a 3D virtual tour for a slightly more unique venue than usual. This was a Matterport 3D virtual tour for Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park. The park opens from 8am – 8pm during the Summer so we had to arrive onsite super early to capture the park just after sunrise.
The site itself is rather large so we captured the restaurant/cafe as the main focal point to the 3D tour. This would mean viewers can walk inside the building and take a look around. Due to the layout of the park, we thought it would be best to capture all the external locations as 360 degree panoramic shots. Some of the shots include aircraft such as Corncode from various angles and inside, Nimrod, DC-10 and a Trident Three. We also captured the runway viewing areas, children’s play area, shop and picnic areas.
The tour will be used as a fresh and innovative way to market the visitor park both on their website and social media. CLICK HERE to view full screen or take a look below…
